Job summary

ROWY HARDWARE SDN. BHD. is seeking an organized accounting professional to manage AP/AR functions and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves data entry, ledger maintenance, and timely processing of payments in a fast-growing Malaysian company.

The candidate should have 1-2 years in accounting, a recognized degree or ACCA-equivalent, and preferably experience with Autocount. Mandarin proficiency is preferred for client interactions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years working experience in accounting or financial management.
• Bachelor's Degree / Accounting Professional Papers / ACCA or equivalent, preferably CGPA > 3.0.
• Experience with Autocount is a strong advantage.
• Mandarin language skills preferred as role interacts with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records including GL, AP and AR.
• Perform data entry and general bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare and monitor aging receivable and payable reports; follow up on payments.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring, cash flow projection, bank reconciliation and banking facilities.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends and improvement areas.
• Ensure daily accounting tasks and deadlines are met.
• Match accounting documents; support daily accounting operations.
• Adhere to SOPs and accounting policies; file and label documents for reference.
• Support Account Manager and team on finance-related matters.
