Job summary

Boardroom Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive to manage invoices, payments and financial reporting for multiple clients in Malaysia. The role requires a professional accounting qualification and 1–2 years in accounting, with strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or Diploma in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of work experience in the accounting function.
• Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, tax and audit rules.
• Candidate with accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word; familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts and customized financial reports.
• Set up charts of accounts for new clients.
• Prepare statutory accounts per Malaysia FRMS.
• Process invoices and prepare payments; handle daily disbursements.
• Prepare cash forecasts and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor time and billing; ensure efficiency within budgets.
• Provide cover for team members and liaise with clients.
