MIRANDAH ASIA (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk/ Account Assistant to join the finance team in Kuala Lumpur. Fresh graduates with a solid foundation in accounting are encouraged to apply, as complete on-the-job training and mentorship will be provided to support growth.

The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, AP/AR support, bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP systems preferred but not mandatory.
• High integrity, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Data Entry: day-to-day transactions and data entry; filing.
• Ledger Maintenance: maintain up-to-date financial records and accounts.
• AP & AR Support: prepare invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting docs.
• Banking & Reconciliation: handle banking inquiries and reconciliations.
• Operations Liaison: provide Statements of Accounts to operations for collection follow-ups.
• Compliance: ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: assist with other financial responsibilities as needed.
