The Junior 3D Printer Product Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily 3D print fleet operations, optimizing batch production workflows, and maintaining machine reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role bridges production management with hands‑on maintenance, electromechanical repairs, and technical support to minimize machine downtime and ensure consistent, high‑quality output.
Plan, schedule, and optimize production workflows to maximize 3D part output and efficiency.
Manage and operate a fleet of production‑scale 3D printers and related equipment.
Maintain high output standards while adapting to tight lead times and shifting production priorities.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and cleaning across all 3D printers.
Diagnose and carry out hands‑on repairs on mechanical and electrical components.
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns, material clogs, and hardware faults to minimize downtime.
Implement quality control procedures to maintain consistent, high‑quality 3D prints.
Provide technical support for slicing parameter setup, print failures, and material optimization.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Fresh Grad or Minimum 1 year of experience operating, maintaining, or repairing 3D printers in a production or workshop setting.
Proficient in 3D slicing software (Bambu Studio, or similar) and basic CAD (Fusion 360).
Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills (reading circuit diagrams, using multimeters, replacing components).
Practical problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
