Job summary

Prestige Edge is seeking a junior 3D Designer & Modeler in Malaysia to build modeling and character design skills while learning production workflows. Exposure to 3D printing is a plus but not required.

You will create 3D models, assist with character modeling, and help prepare STL/OBJ files for printing and milling, collaborating closely with the design team to integrate 2D and 3D assets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience or relevant internship/academic project.
• Basic understanding of 3D modeling fundamentals (topology, UV mapping, proportions).
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models under guidance using Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
• Assist with 3D character modeling, focusing on proportion and design accuracy.

About you

Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator

1–2 years of experience or relevant internship/academic project experience

Willingness to learn STL and OBJ file workflows

Interest in 3D printing and fabrication processes

Strong attention to detail and eagerness to grow within the role
