Job summary

EPF Malaysia is seeking a qualified lawyer to manage and advise on all litigation and dispute resolution matters for the organisation. The role involves analysing investigation papers, attending court proceedings, conducting extensive legal research, and providing opinions across insolvency, contractual, commercial, investment, and property disputes.

You will liaise with external counsel, formulate case strategies, review settlements, and ensure actions are compliant with legal and procedural

Qualifications

Must have relevant legal qualifications and be able to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
Experience in litigation and civil proceedings is required.
Proven ability to conduct extensive legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions.

Responsibilities

Analyse investigation papers and determine action for legal proceedings.
Attend court proceedings, including trials for prosecution and civil matters.
Manage civil actions referred by branches and coordinate with external counsel.
Provide legal advisory services to internal departments on contribution and non-contribution matters.
Monitor progress of litigation and ensure alignment with case strategy.
