Job summary

CSYAP Group is seeking a Jig & Fixture Engineer to design and validate jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production. You will work with Welding, Fabrication, Production, and Design teams to deliver practical manufacturing solutions.

The role focuses on improving accuracy, repeatability, safety, efficiency, and product quality through effective fixture and tooling solutions. Join a collaborative team in Selangor to support welding and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in jig/fixture/tooling design in manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Experience with welding, machining, or assembly fixtures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production.
• Validate and improve fixture designs through trials and testing.
• Provide technical support during production and pilot builds.
• Modify existing fixtures to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for fixture compatibility.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-effective manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering requirements.
