Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Kulai, Malaysia, to design and improve fixtures for assembly, pressing, welding, and machining processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to boost efficiency and liaise with suppliers for tool fabrication.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering and 2+ years of jig/fixture design experience, with CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering.
2+ years of jig and fixture design experience, preferably in metal stamping and fabrication.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize fixtures for assembly, pressing, welding, and machining processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Liaise with suppliers for tool fabrication and negotiate prices.
Improve existing jigs, fixtures, and tools.
Provide technical support to production operations and conduct field investigations.
