Jora Malaysia is hiring a Java Analyst Programmer to join our development team, working on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. The candidate should bring strong Core Java, JSP, Servlet, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Git experience, along with familiarity with Apache Tomcat and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Proficiency in Core Java, JSP and Servlet.
• Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL and database development.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat server.
• Hands-on experience with Git.
• Exposure to Jenkins.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin and Cantonese a plus.

• Support end-user acceptance testing and address feedback to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid proficiency in Core Java, JSP, and Servlet.
• Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot is important; candidates are expected to have a good understanding of these frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and database-related development.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat application server.
• Hands-on experience with version control using Git.
• Exposure to continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
