Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This onsite, 1‑year contract role may extend or convert to permanent based on performance, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Requirements include 2–4 years in Java development, strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC, and deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational databases

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 2–4 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and relational databases.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with commonly used middleware technologies
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL and/or Oracle
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend application development
• Good troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience with intelligent operations, automation, or AI-assisted IT solutions
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Hands-on experience in application performance tuning and optimization
