Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This onsite, 1‑year contract role may extend or convert to permanent based on performance, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Requirements include 2–4 years in Java development, strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC, and deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational databases

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
2–4 years of professional Java development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and relational databases.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
Implement backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
Develop microservices and distributed applications with REST APIs.
Work with MySQL/Oracle for data management and integration.
Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure best practices.
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
