Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a backend Java engineer to design and build RESTful microservices using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, focusing on secure, scalable API contracts in an Agile team.

You will implement data access with JPA/Hibernate, optimize performance, containerize with Docker, deploy on Kubernetes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, plus testing with JUnit/Mockito.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Strong background in microservices REST architectures.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for API contracts.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful microservices with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Implement authentication/authorization using Spring Security (OAuth2/JWT).
• Design schemas, write SQL, and work with JPA/Hibernate.
