Job summary

ACCORD INNOVATIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable services using Java and Spring Boot in Kuala Lumpur.

You will implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and robust data models with PostgreSQL, while ensuring code quality and security. Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, conduct code reviews, and optimize performance across the stack. Experience with Hibernate, Docker, and messaging systems is a plus; cloud and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java (JDK 8 or above).
• Proven experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Solid experience working with PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Understanding of ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) is a plus; messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) an advantage.
