Job summary

techstreet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Java/Microservices specialist to design and implement RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON. You will collaborate on code management with SVN/GIT, and leverage Maven/Gradle build scripts during cloud deployments.

The candidate will work with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA, and should be comfortable with Oracle or PostgreSQL and CI/CD tooling including Jenkins. Experience migrating to GitHub is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing RESTful APIs with JAX-RS and JSON
• Experience using source code management systems such as SVN or GIT and build tools like ant, maven, Gradle
• Hands-on with Maven build scripts and migration to Git Hub
• Experience developing and deploying Microservices on Cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, JPA
• Good knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Jenkins scripts and CICD deployment
• Understanding of web servers and load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON
• Work on SVN or GIT and manage codebases
• Use build tools including ant, maven, Gradle
• Migrate Maven scripts and migrate to Git Hub
• Develop and deploy Microservices on Cloud infrastructure
