Job summary

Align Technology in Malaysia seeks an experienced iTero Territory Sales Manager to drive intraoral scanner sales through distributors and direct channels. You will plan strategies, forecast demand, deliver product demonstrations, and build strong customer relationships to expand market share in APAC Malaysia.

The role requires a track record in medical devices sales, excellent communication, and leadership abilities. Travel within APAC and collaboration with SEA/APAC teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years' experience in sales and business development.
• Proven distributor and indirect team management experience.
• Experience in medical devices industry is preferred.
• Project oriented / project driven background and a hands-up the sleeves attitude
• Able to maintain a strong customer focus in the context of the business strategy.
• Effective problem solving and mediation skills
• Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
• Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
• Advanced presentation and negotiation skills.
• Good working level in English
• Education to degree level with BS or BA preferred (depending on geography) and/or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities within Direct & Indirect Channels and drive action plans with both channel teams, leading to the achievement of assigned targets.
• Plan, and execute a structured & measurable business plan in the territory.
• Support sales teams in demonstrating the value proposition of iTero & Align to increase sales speed and conversion.
• Identify and resolve customer issues and concerns.
• Develop relationships with existing and potential distributors.
• Develop relationships with existing and potential customers (end users).
