Job summary

Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology, seeking a Sales Representative II to promote and sell products within a territory in Malaysia. You will develop strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, and execute strategies to meet sales targets, collaborating with healthcare stakeholders to maximize solution value.

You will travel frequently within the territory, engage in product demonstrations, and contribute to market insights across R&D, operations, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of sales experience.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize competing responsibilities.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations or clinical education.
• Understanding of sales strategy development and territory management.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
• Frequent travel within assigned territory.
• Regular interaction with healthcare professionals and clinical environments.
• Combination of field-based sales activity and administrative work.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
• Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
• Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
• Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
• Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
