Job summary

Media Smart Resources Sdn Bhd is hiring for an IT Support role based in Johor Bahru. The successful candidate will provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for hardware, software, Windows systems and related IT issues, and help configure laptops, desktops and peripherals.

You will manage Windows Server, Active Directory, and user access, maintain assets and vendor records, and coordinate with vendors until issues are resolved. After-hours standby may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in IT support, infrastructure support
• Practical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity with endpoint security, backup systems, and basic virtualisation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and provide after-hours standby support when required.
• Prefer candidates staying nearby Hospital Sultan Ismail, Tebrau (due to on-call support after office hours)

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, Windows systems, HCI Sangfor and user issues.
• Configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, meeting-room equipment and other IT devices.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, HCI Sangfor, user accounts and access rights.
• Maintain IT asset, software licence, warranty, subscription and vendor records.
• Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers and internet providers until issues are resolved.
• Perform system health checks, updates, antivirus monitoring, backup verification and basic cybersecurity controls.
• Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance and standby support for critical incidents.
