Job summary

Links International in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage multiple internal payroll systems across APAC, oversee the payroll applications lifecycle, and configure regional databases.

The role covers infrastructure monitoring, incident resolution within SLA, regular maintenance, and supporting Tier 1/2 IT tasks, with ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in Tier 2 IT operations and system database maintenance.
• Familiar with IT infrastructure technical skills: Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing & switching).
• Experience with backup systems, monitoring tools, and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple internal payroll systems in Malaysia, China and other countries.
• Manage payroll applications lifecycle, eg. payroll vendor management, installation, ongoing maintenance/monitoring/troubleshooting, and de‑installation.
• Configure and maintain databases and system for regional payroll users across 14 APAC countries.
• Provide application support and troubleshooting assistance to payroll teams.
• Monitor performance and health of servers, network devices, storage, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems within SLA.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and optimization.
• Cover/ backup other IT Team Members' day-to-day operations.
• Include but not limited to Tier 1 user support, Tier 2 network maintenance, etc.
• Ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by IT Manager.
