Regional IT Operations Support Executive Mandarin Speaking

Perform daily health checks for regional business systems, review monitoring alerts, and carry out routine operational tasks such as system releases, version updates and access permission management.

When an issue occurs, collect relevant logs and information, reproduce the issue where possible, and elevate it to the relevant technical team. Assist with incident handling but will not be responsible for in-depth technical troubleshooting.

Coordinate with local teams and business partners to complete backend configuration, data verification, user enquiries and basic reporting.

Execute system and business-related operational requests assigned by the relevant internal teams, follow up on outstanding issues, and ensure that each case is properly tracked through to closure.

Provide cross-time-zone operational support and respond to urgent business issues outside regular business hours when required.

Maintain accurate shift handover records and communicate work progress, pending tasks, operational risks, instructions and on-site information across relevant teams and stakeholders.

During online incidents, verify the situation on-site, collect relevant information, track resolution progress, execute established emergency procedures, and complete post-incident records using standard templates.

Maintain operational documents, shift handover guidelines, standard operating procedures and business FAQs based on existing templates.

Support the implementation of local projects and coordinate with third-party service providers, business partners and internal teams to ensure smooth on-site execution.

Requirements

Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

At least two years of relevant experience in system operations, IT operations support, server administration or a similar role.

Familiar with the daily administration of Linux and Windows servers, including basic command-line operations, system monitoring and log analysis.

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Huawei Cloud, as well as database operations, server administration and computer networking.

Able to independently handle common system and business-related issues and elevate complex technical issues with complete and accurate information.

Able to work effectively across different time zones, with strong capabilities in shift handovers, progress updates, incident documentation and post-incident reviews.

Good spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is required for communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Basic written and spoken English is required for communication with local teams, vendors and business partners.

Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and good incident-response capabilities.

Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, follow established procedures and proactively drive issues to closure.

Able to adapt to a multicultural working environment and accept cross-time-zone work arrangements, including shift work or after-hours support when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting cross-border businesses, international internet companies or regional B2B/B2C operations.

Experience using IT automation tools, monitoring systems or data reporting and analysis tools.

Experience in project coordination, third-party vendor management or collaboration with regional teams.

Proficiency in using AI tools to improve operational efficiency, documentation, reporting and problem-solving.
