Job summary

JCL Credit Leasing Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to ensure smooth IT operations and support across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining servers, managing projects, and assisting teams with technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Certificate or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, and have excellent communication skills in both Malay and English.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the technical support in the company.
• Ensure the normal day to day operations of servers, computers and other hardware/peripheral devices in office.
• Assist in implementing short-term and long-term information technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Supervise projects activities.
• Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring.
• Monitoring the daily progress of projects and ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Manage expectations, control and track project performance.
• Reporting project status on a weekly basis to customer and the project team.
• Coordinate with other departments and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
• Communicate with vendors and project manager to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.

What we’re looking for:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Work under minimum supervision and has sense of urgency in responding to technical support.
• Must have good communication skills to convey the rationale of an entire system enhancement to improve our business operations and delivering a solution from our vendors.
