Job summary

Sophic Automation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a software/automation engineer to ramp up C# or Python development, design workflows with Power Automate, and build Power BI dashboards for decision makers. You will also handle project design, testing, and infrastructure support while maintaining excellent documentation.

The role involves collaboration on Phase 1 & 2 development cycles and immediate start, with emphasis on proactive learning, strong English communication, and a professional team

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Proficiency or interest in C# or Python.
• Strong Power Suite skills: Power BI and Power Automate.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• ramp-up and develop tasks in C# or Python.
• Design and review project phases 1 and 2 development cycles.
• Design and implement Power Automate workflows to improve efficiency.
• Perform data analysis, modelling, and dashboard creation using Power BI.
• Conduct testing and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Provide Tech support for Windows/macOS, Office, and DLM portal.
• Learn to manage devices via Entra, Intune, Defender, and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot remote access and asset management procedures.
• Maintain UC gear and printer services.
• Offer White Glove support for executives and events.
• Use ServiceNow for ticketing and documentation.
• Respond to critical alerts within defined SLA.

Infrastructure & Technical Support

Provide technical help for Windows/macOS, Microsoft office, and the DLM portal.

Learn to manage devices and security through Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Defender.

Troubleshoot remote access issues using BTRS Remote and device tracking via Absolute.

Manage the Hampro Asset Management process, including unboxing, imaging laptops, and hardware setup.

Maintain Unified Communications (UC) meeting room gear and corporate printer services.

Operational Excellence

Provide “White Glove” support for executives and technical setup for company events.

Use ServiceNow to track and resolve requests, ensuring great documentation along the way.

Respond to critical system alerts or urgent VIP requests within defined SLA timelines.

Job Requirement

Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proficiency or interest in C# or Python for development.

Strong capability in Power Suite (Power BI and Power Automate).

Basic understanding of Windows/macOS, WiFi, and VPNs.

Proactive attitude toward mastering tools like Microsoft Entra and ServiceNow.

Must be a detail-oriented and highly organized person.

Good command of both spoken and written English.

Self-motivated, confident, result-oriented, and a professional team player.

Ability to handle hardware (laptops/printers) with care and follow SOPs.

Possess own transport.

Able to start immediately.
