Job summary

adnexio is seeking an experienced IT operations engineer in Kuala Lumpur to manage server systems, scripting, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with development teams to deploy and optimize services while maintaining private cloud infrastructure.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in IT, 5+ years in IT/support and strong networking, Linux, and scripting skills. Candidates should be able to lead a small team and adapt to non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, system operations, networking, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
• Hands-on experience with web-related technologies such as Nginx, Redis, Zookeeper, MySQL, DNS, etc., including configuration and performance tuning.
• Proficient in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell, Go).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to independently handle complex issues.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly acquire and apply new technologies in a practical environment.
• Experience in team management or technical leadership; prior experience leading a small team (3–5 members) is an advantage.
• Willing to work non-standard hours, including overtime or when support is required.
