Job summary

Luminarix Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Support professional in Petaling Jaya to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and maintain devices and systems. The role requires a diploma or degree in IT or a related field, and 2–4 years of IT support experience.

You will manage user access and ensure secure IT operations, with opportunities to grow in a fintech environment. The candidate must be able to start immediately and be willing to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of IT support experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and basic networking is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access control, and permissions.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application-related issues.
• Assist in network monitoring and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Support backup and recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

About the role
