Job summary

Infinity Consulting Technology Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is seeking an IT Support specialist to monitor daily backup activities, execute restores, and troubleshoot failed jobs following pre-defined policies. You will monitor ticket queues, log incidents, and coordinate corrective actions with customers and internal teams.

You will prepare daily and monthly backup status reports, document solutions, and publish technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily backup and operational support for backup solution per pre-defined policies and procedures
• Monitor backup jobs, execute restore jobs, troubleshoot failed job, and initiate corrective action
• Handle incoming calls or emails from customers for technical requests/support
• Monitor ticket queue, log tickets through our ticket management system for failed jobs, identify and resolve issues
• Prepare daily and monthly backup status reports on a regular basis
• Documentation of solution and publication of technical documents
• On-site health checks or troubleshooting of technical issues
• Understand the SLA and ensure it is met
