Kansai Paints Malaysia is seeking an IT Supervisor/Executive (Application & Infrastructure) to oversee business app development, system integration and core IT infrastructure to support digital transformation. We are seeking a versatile IT Supervisor / Executive (Application & Infrastructure) to oversee business application development, systems integration and core IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency through workflow automation, database reporting and network / server administration. A key immediate priority for this role will be supporting our digital transformation roadmap specifically the transition and migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to RISE with SAP (S / 4HANA Cloud).
Support the application and data migration lifecycle from SAP ECC 6.0 to RISE with SAP including data cleansing, custom code assessment and system integration testing.
Design, code and deploy custom applications using C#, VB.NET, Java, PHP or Python.
Build business apps and automated workflows using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate).
Develop API integrations and secure data exchanges between SAP, databases and third-party systems.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports for MS SQL Server, MySQL or SAP HANA.
Administer physical / virtual servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and endpoint devices to ensure high availability.
Monitor network performance, manage cloud services and execute routine updates and maintenance and technical refresh.
Enforce cybersecurity policies, respond to alerts and manage backup schedules with restoration testing.
Provide Level 2/3 technical support for hardware, operating systems, M365 and enterprise SAP application users.
Coordinate with external vendors, SAP implementation partners and cloud service providers for system upgrades.
Maintain system documentation, data dictionaries, asset records and audit compliance logs.
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 5 years in IT infrastructure administration, software development and systems management.
SAP Knowledge - Direct experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 or exposure to RISE with SAP / S/4HANA migration projects is strongly preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
M365 & Database: Power Platform, SharePoint and SQL database administration (MS SQL, MySQL, SAP HANA).
Infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, backup systems and cybersecurity basics.
Strong problem-solving, communication and project coordination abilities.
