Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Risk Manager - Risks & Controls to strengthen IT risk, controls and incident management for a global financial services client. You will coordinate with IT and business teams, perform risk mappings, and prepare governance reports.

The role focuses on establishing assessments, monitoring risk indicators, and driving remediation actions across technology and security domains, with exposure to asset servicing and custody functions within the financial

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Risk Management, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT risk, governance, controls, or related functions.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of IT risk management, control testing and reporting.
• Experience in incident management, root cause analysis and remediation tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support operational incident management and ensure proper documentation and action plans.
• Review and maintain IT control plans; identify gaps and improvements.
• Assist IT risk assessments, risk mapping and governance reporting.
• Prepare risk and control reports for management and governance committees.
• Develop relationships with IT, Security and business stakeholders; promote risk-based recommendations.
