Job summary

QUBE APPS SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic software projects across international teams. You will design plans, manage scope, timelines, resources and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional groups to deliver on time.

You will monitor risks, expenditures, enforce quality standards, handle changes, and communicate with stakeholders. Some travel to overseas locations may be required and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience working with international teams or overseas partnerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
• Coordinate with teams and departments to allocate resources for project execution.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders with regular progress updates.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for deliverables with reviews and inspections.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources and communicate impacts.
• Oversee IT projects that may involve overseas locations and coordinate across geographies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural sensitivities in overseas execution.
• Travel to overseas locations as needed to oversee activities and coordinate with local teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive improvements.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

3+ years of experience in project management

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with multi-project management

Experience with international teams or overseas partnerships

Manage IT projects that may involve overseas locations, coordinating activities and resources across different geographical areas.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural sensitivities in overseas project execution.

Travel to overseas locations as required to oversee project activities and facilitate coordination with local teams and stakeholders.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.

Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Perform any ad-hoc tasks and or project that assigned by the Management from time-to-time.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management methodologies.


• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, such as Agile. Or Scrum.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.


• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


• Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.


• Experience working with international teams or managing oversea partnership is added advantage.
