Job Overview:
The IT Manager will oversee all IT operations across the company's retail outlets, ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, optimize POS (Point-Of-Sale) systems and retail systems. The role requires strategic planning, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership to ensure that IT supports business growth and operational efficiency.
Job Description:
1. IT Infrastructure & Retail Systems Management
- - Oversee and maintain POS, inventory, and e-commerce systems to ensure smooth retail operations.
- - Ensure store networks, servers and cloud systems are stable, secure and up to date.
- - Manage system integrations, ensuring all platforms communicate effectively.
- - Minimize downtime by proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
2. IT Support & Operations
- - Provide technical support for stores, warehouse and HQ, troubleshooting issues efficiently.
- - Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
- - Maintain IT assets inventory and lifecycle management.
3. Security & Compliance
- - Implement and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring data protection and compliance with regulations.
- - Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- - Monitor and safeguard POS and customer data from cyber threats.
- - Manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely procurement of IT equipment and software.
- - Prepare and manage IT budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining efficiency.
- - Lead and develop the IT support team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- - Train retail staff on IT systems, cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- - Allocate resources effectively to handle IT projects and daily operations.
6. Strategic IT Planning
- - Collaborate with senior management to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- - Recommend new technologies and software solutions to enhance retail operations and customer experience.
- - Oversee IT projects, including system integration, software rollout, and store technology upgrades.
