Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computing/IT is required.
• Strong computer literacy with hands-on software installation and network troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with PABX systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with departments, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain the Hotel Management System (HMS) and integrations with third-party solutions.
• Coordinate development, deployment, and documentation of HMS enhancements to support business needs.
• Maintain all property computers, network switches/hubs, and network points.
• Manage office software applications and licenses and property-wide internet access.
• Provide technical support on networks, hardware and software to staff and guests.
• Ensure IT systems and procedures comply with company guidelines; lead Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on repair works for PCs, cabling, switches, and hubs.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and adapt them to local needs while coordinating with corporate IT.
• Lead planning and execution of new IT initiatives including scope, strategy, budgeting, and resourcing.

Our client is a well-established international hospitality group that known for high service standards and a strong reputation in the region, they are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining the property's software applications and network infrastructure, ensuring all computer systems run at optimal performance. You will also provide responsive IT support to guests and staff, and work closely with the corporate IT team to uphold group-wide standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain the Hotel Management System (HMS) and its integrations with third-party solutions, following best practices and standards set by the corporate office.
• Coordinate the development, deployment, and documentation of HMS enhancements and integrations to support evolving business needs.
• Maintain and upkeep all property computers, network switches, hubs, and network points.
• Manage all office software applications and licenses, as well as property-wide internet access.
• Provide technical support on networks, hardware, and software applications to internal staff and guests as needed.
• Ensure all IT systems, services, and procedures comply with company guidelines, including leading the annual Disaster Recovery exercise to safeguard property data.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on repair works for PCs, network cabling, switches, and hubs.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, adapting them to local needs while maintaining strong working relationships with corporate IT.
• Lead the planning and execution of new IT initiatives, including project scope, technical strategy, budgeting, and resourcing.
