Job summary

SMBC Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to manage Wintel environments and virtualization platforms. The role focuses on delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure, patching, and capacity planning while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will act as SME for Windows-based technologies, collaborate with risk and internal audit teams, and drive change management with robust documentation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure experience within financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Nutanix AHV, Prism Central, VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and regulatory frameworks such as BNM RMiT, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management and support for enterprise Wintel environments.
• Ensure compliance and risk management with regulatory requirements and audit readiness.
• Follow structured change management for system updates and configurations.
• Provide SME guidance on Wintel and virtualization technologies and create technical documentation.
