Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an IT support professional to monitor job schedules, file transfers, and alert systems across datacenter and application infrastructure. The role emphasizes collaboration with global teams and timely execution of backups and incident responses.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in IT/CS, can work shifts (8–12 hours), and has at least 1 year of IT experience. Strong English communication and independence are required to adhere to standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scheduled jobs completion and status.
• Monitor file send/receive processes.
• Ensure critical files are sent/received to Central on time.
• Handle alert monitoring systems for Datacenter infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor networking systems for alerts.
• Provide Level 1 ServiceNow ticket handling.
• Work with backup tools to execute and monitor backups.
• Collaborate with worldwide DataCenter staff and other domain teams.

YOUR ROLE

• 1. Job schedulers : Ability to monitor scheduled jobs completion & status.
• 2. File Senders : Monitoring send/receive files
• Ensuring all critical files to be sent & received to Central on time to the target recipient.
• 3. Handling of several alert monitoring systems as below:
• 4. Datacenter Infrastructure Monitoring : UPS, Humidity, PAC & Water Leakage
• 5. Application & Infrastructure monitoring
• 6. Network Monitoring Systems for networking systems alert.
• 7. Service Now - Level 1 Ticket Handling Provide Level 1 services on Service Now ticket distribution and assignment correctly to the responsible team.
• 8. Backup Tools Able to work with backup tools in execution and monitoring backup status
• 9. Able to collaborate with Worldwide DataCenter staffs & other domain support teams.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• 1. Holds a Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science field & related preferably
• 2. Able to work on shifts (8-12 hours)
• 3. Minimum of 1 year experience in IT related field
• 4. Able to work on Windows, Linux & HPUX platforms (workstation/servers)
• 5. Proficient in English with strong communication skills
• 6. Capable of working independently with self-discipline accordingly to standard procedures.
