Job summary

Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad is seeking a Sr. Engineer, IT Infrastructure to lead strategy, architecture and operations across the company’s IT infrastructure. You will guide product selections, provide advanced technical support, and drive continuous improvement in availability, performance and security across Malaysia sites.

The role requires hands-on leadership in design, testing, disaster recovery planning and project delivery, with focus on alignment to business requirements and ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT infrastructure strategy and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight of IT infrastructure technologies aligned with business requirements.
• Select platform products based on business and technical needs.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support and leadership across IT teams to ensure availability and performance.
• Build, maintain and troubleshoot the infrastructure including servers, apps, backups, virtualization and storage.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and design new environments to meet business needs.
