Job summary

GDP Architects is seeking an IT Executive to support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance. You will manage server and network systems, backups, and IT security to ensure business continuity.

The role requires a Diploma in IT or CS, with at least 3 years in IT infrastructure or support. Familiarity with Mac hardware, Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, and VPNs is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Familiar with Mac computer hardware configuration and repair.
• 3+ years’ relevant IT infrastructure or system support experience; fresh graduates with internship are welcome.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network administration, backup solutions and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization, firewalls, switches, routers and application support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining network infrastructure and IT systems.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, servers and peripherals.
• Carry out Mac hardware configuration and repair.
• Perform and monitor daily backups to protect systems and data.
• Provide technical support across hardware, software, network, and application issues.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues with vendors or developers as needed.
• Monitor server health, performance and IT security for business continuity.
• Maintain system configurations, backup logs and technical documentation.
• Undertake other IT duties as assigned by IT Manager or Management.

We are looking for an IT Executive to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the organisation’s IT infrastructure and systems. The role will provide technical support to users, maintain network and server infrastructure, manage backups and assist with IT security and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT-related systems.

• Carry out Mac computer hardware configuration and repair.
• Perform and monitor daily backup operations to ensure critical systems and data are successfully backed up.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end users across hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and other network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot application and system issues, coordinating with vendors or developers where required.
• Monitor server health, system performance and IT security to support business continuity.
• Maintain system configurations, backup logs and technical documentation.
• Undertake other IT-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager or Management.
