Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an IT Engineer focused on reporting and dashboards to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop professional dashboards, and ensure timely, accurate reports using SQL Server and Oracle back-ends.

You will also implement ETL processes, perform data quality checks, and provide training and documentation while supporting on-call rotations in a fast-paced environment in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 2–6 years in data analysis, reporting, or BI.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in SQL across SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of Python programming.
• Understanding of statistics and data modeling.

Responsibilities

IT Engineer (Senior/E2/E1) – Reporting and Dashboard

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
• Expert in create professional reports/dashboard to deliver insightful information (charts, tabular, graph, etc.)
• Analyze and improve reporting performance including data accuracy, timely report delivery and ease of report access.
• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) programming maintenance and development.
• Create custom mapping in ETP tools to manipulate and transform data into reports
• Write T-SQL and PL/SQL store procedures, views, functions and build SSIS or others ETL packages using integration design, data architecture, and high-performance techniques.
• Provide 24x7 standby on call support through a rotational on-call schedule
• Conduct user training sessions and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must have experience with RDBMS like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database and SQL programming.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL programming
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with programming languages such as Python
