Job summary

QL Kitchen Sdn Bhd is seeking a data analytics professional to design and maintain Power BI dashboards, structuring ERP and production data for analysis. You will analyze operational and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business needs into impactful data insights, supporting productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and forecasting efforts in a digitalized operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or related field.
• Power BI proficiency with strong Excel experience.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query for data modeling and measures.
• Experience with complex data and data quality improvements.
• Understanding of ETL: collect, clean, transform data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric; SQL and Python or R are a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and data accuracy.

Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, focusing on clear, user-friendly visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Prepare and structure operational data from ERP and production systems for analysis and reporting.
• Analyze operational and quality data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful data insights and visual reports.
• Support business improvements by analyzing productivity, efficiency, waste, cost, and forecasting needs.
• Provide support in operations digitalization initiatives, contributing to improved data structuring and process visibility.

Requirement

• sBachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related fields
• .Proficient in Power BI, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools (especially Excel)
• .Strong working knowledge of DAX and Power Query, including building data models, performing transformations, and creating calculated measures
• .Experience working with complex data, with the ability to enhance data quality for reliable reporting
• .Basic understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): able to collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis
• .Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, including workspaces, datasets, and dataflows is preferred; familiarity with SQL and programming languages such as Python or R is an added advantage
• .Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency
