Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional in Penang to support IQA daily activities and ensure timely receiving inspections. You will handle data collection on FIFO incoming materials, initiate QN for rejects, and contribute to MRB disposition while maintaining ISO 9002/ISO14000 compliance.

With 2–4 years in electronics QA/QC, you will read engineering drawings, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team, using standard Office tools to support

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

• To assist the IQA Supervisor to ensure that IQA daily activities are carried out smoothly.
• To ensure that the turnaround time for receiving inspection is done within the goal set by the IQA Supervisor.
• Receiving inspection and data collection of incoming materials on FIFO basis.
• Rebuy-off sorted/reworked materials.
• Initiate Quality Notification (QN) for rejected materials.
• Process Material Review Board, MRB disposition (usage decision) for QN lots.
• Ensure that all urgent parts are inspected promptly and released to stockroom to avoid any line down situation.
• To perform any assignment related to IQA activities assigned by the IQA Supervisor.
• Compliance to ISO 9002/ISO14000 procedures.
