Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Penang is hiring an MTS Engineer for Ecosystem IP Quality to qualify semiconductor IP libraries across platforms. You will verify IP DK and silicon deliverables, manage IP regression, and drive IP quality improvements to support customer tape-outs while collaborating with external IP providers and internal teams.

The role requires a strong background in RTL-to-GDS flow, analog simulation, and CAD tools, with scripting and automation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IC design field.
• Experience with RTL to GDS flow and analog simulation.

Responsibilities

• Perform IP QA against predefined QA checklist and verify IP DK and Silicon deliverables.
• Qualify IP merge kit to support customer tape-out.
• Maintain IP database and IP Catalog, update data timely.
• Define test cases for IP qualification and IP regression.
