Job summary

SquareCloud Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Project Engineer for end-to-end IoT solutions to optimize building and plant performance. This full-time, on-site role involves designing architectures, configuring sensors, and integrating data with cloud platforms.

You will manage project timelines, coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients, prepare technical docs, and support installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot IoT systems and related hardware.
• Experience with IoT platforms and industrial automation is beneficial.
• Strong project engineering and electrical engineering skills.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data analytics and networking basics.
• Experience with HVAC systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end IoT solutions for building and plant performance optimization.
• Design and implement IoT architectures and configure sensors/devices.
• Integrate data with cloud platforms and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with internal teams, vendors and clients.
• Prepare technical documentation and support installation, testing and commissioning.
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, provide improvements, and offer ongoing maintenance.
