Job summary

Ultrack Technology in Malaysia (Cyberjaya) is seeking a motivated IoT Engineer to support the deployment and delivery of IoT projects. You will configure devices, install at sites, perform testing, and coordinate activities across the project lifecycle.

Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering/IoT is required. Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, connectivity, and system integration is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, IoT or related field.
• Experience in IoT, electronics, automation, networking or related technical projects is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of IoT devices, sensors, connectivity and system integration.
• Able to read and understand technical documentation and project requirements.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and project coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Able to work independently as well as with internal and external teams.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up IoT devices, sensors, gateways and related systems according to project requirements.
• Installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of IoT devices at project sites.
• Conduct system testing and ensure all devices and systems function properly before handover.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates and resource requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, technical records and other paperwork.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals based on client and project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors and vendors for smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, timelines and deliverables to meet schedule.
• Support project deployment, delivery, handover and post-installation activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during installation, testing and deployment.
