Intel Corporation in Malaysia seeks an experienced Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation and automation systems for facilities, labs, and manufacturing. You will troubleshoot and optimize systems, calibrate instrumentation, and develop new control solutions to improve performance and reliability.

The role emphasizes BMS, PLCs, valves, sensors, and data analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics with 2–5 years in instrumentation and controls.
Familiarity with pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow sensors.
Experience with GE Cimplicity, Rockwell Logix PLC, and SCADA systems is valued.
Ability to read instrumentation drawings and PLC/SCADA interface diagrams.

Responsabilités

Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems for facilities operations.
Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program instrumentation for optimal performance.
Develop control systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Prepare engineering assessments and provide technical direction for construction.
Manage projects within defined cost and schedule constraints.
Collaborate with design engineers, operations staff, and contractors.
Assist in procurement processes.
Analyze data, create reports, and advise on technical matters.
