Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Processor cum Authorizer to join our Investment Operations team. You will be responsible for timely processing and authorisation of Deposit and Unit Trust transactions, while ensuring adherence to procedures, regulatory requirements and internal controls.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, collaboration with partners, and involvement in system improvements, UAT, audits, and risk management; a Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance or related field is

Responsibilities

• Process and authorise Deposit and Unit Trust transactions accurately and within established turnaround times.
• Verify customer instructions and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance before processing.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper documentation, record management and archival of customer instructions and transaction records.
• Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational activities and customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to customer queries, issues and feedback to ensure timely resolution.
• Support system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, operational controls and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit, compliance and risk management activities as required.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
