Job summary

Capital Dynamics Asset Management Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Library Assistant to support a specialized investment library. You will classify, catalogue and manage resources, lend materials, and assist users with library services while upholding policies and procedures.

Experience with content digitisation is a plus; the role requires good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently within a start-up style, flat hierarchy environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in IT, Library Management, Resource Center Management, or Knowledge Management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and basic computer skills.
• Able to develop library policies, procedures, ethics and professional standards.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions with exactness.

Responsibilities

• Classify and catalog library resources according to content and purpose.
• Manage lending and upkeep of the library resources.
• Facilitate acquisition of resources and subscriptions to materials.
• Guide library users on policies and procedures and safeguard resources.
