Job summary

A leading company in air purification is seeking a Storekeeper in Kajang. In this role, you will manage inventory, ensure timely distribution of materials, and support warehouse operations to enhance business success. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience, be capable of operating forklifts, and have Microsoft Office skills. This position offers hands-on exposure to managing stock control and opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control.
• Ability to drive a forklift to lift and move heavy items.
• Microsoft Office skills as an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Update stock cards to maintain accurate records of stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Receive, verify, and inspect incoming materials based on delivery orders.
• Prepare and issue raw materials and components according to production requirements.
• Properly label and store materials in designated locations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in forecasting inventory needs.
• Assist in handling and disposing of unused, expired, or defective materials.
• Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, purchase orders, and delivery notes.

What You'll Do

• Inventory Management– Update stock cards to maintain accurate records of stock levels, incoming and outgoing materials, and perform regular stock checks and cycle counts
• Receiving & Inspection– Receive, verify, and inspect incoming materials and parts based on delivery orders, ensuring they meet quality and quantity requirements before storage
• Issuance of Materials– Prepare and issue raw materials and components according to production requirements
• Storage & Organization– Properly label and store materials in designated locations, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Stock Replenishment & Ordering– Monitor stock levels, assist the warehouse executive in forecasting inventory needs, and notify the purchasing team to reorder as needed to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Support in Waste Management & Disposal– Assist in handling and disposing of unused, expired, or defective materials according to company policies
• Documentation & Reporting– Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, purchase orders, and delivery notes
