Carro Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Inventory QC to support our Retail Sales and Aftersales teams by ensuring vehicles are properly repaired, refurbished, and meet the certified pre-owned (CPO) quality standards before retail release. We are looking for an Executive, Inventory QC to support our Retail Sales and Aftersales teams by ensuring vehicles are properly repaired, refurbished, and meet the required Certified Pre‑Owned (CPO) quality standards before being released for retail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle quality checks, identifying outstanding defects, coordinating rectification with the Aftersales team, and ensuring all QC records and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Conduct QC inspections on vehicles after completion of Aftersales and Body & Paint repairs.
Perform vehicle checks based on the company’s 160-point inspection criteria and refurbishment guidelines.
Verify that completed repairs meet the required CPO quality standards and match the vehicle inspection report.
Identify any outstanding or additional defects and coordinate with the relevant Aftersales / Body & Paint PIC for rectification.
Re‑inspect vehicles after rectification to ensure all issues have been properly resolved before QC approval.
Complete QC inspections within the targeted 30‑minute turnaround time per vehicle.
Achieve a minimum productivity target of 14 vehicles per day.
Maintain accurate QC records and prepare daily CPO and refurbishment reports.
Ensure all required QC reports and updates are completed accurately and submitted by 7:30 PM.
Coordinate with Retail Sales, Aftersales, and Body & Paint teams to ensure vehicles are ready for retail within the required timeline.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in automotive inspection, vehicle QC, workshop, Body & Paint, Aftersales, or a related automotive role.
Good knowledge of vehicle condition assessment, repair quality, and basic automotive components.
Able to identify vehicle defects and assess the quality of completed repair work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining vehicle quality standards.
Good communication and coordination skills when working with workshop and internal teams.
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet daily productivity targets.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Possess a valid driving licence and comfortable handling or moving vehicles when required.
