Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking an Inventory Analyst to analyze and coordinate solutions for inventory control, and to collaborate with interplants and external parties on excess and obsolescence inventory disposition.

You will maintain data for periodic reporting to management, regional, and corporate office, and support the Inventory Manager in meeting KPI targets and E&O reductions. Experience with MS Office and AI tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years experience in Materials Planning / Production Control or in related field.
• Knowledge of materials management, inventory control and supply chain is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge on Generative AI and Agentic AI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To analyze and co-ordinate solutions for inventory control.
• Co-ordinate with interplant and external parties on excess and obsolescence inventory disposition.
• Maintain and manage data for periodic reporting to management, regional and corporate office.
• Support Inventory Manager on manage and control inventory to meet company inventory KPI , E&O quarter to quarter reduction % (Subjected to yearly Management Review Target)
• Analyze complex situations and recommend solutions to inventory problems
• Handles inquiries regarding inventory control issues, policies and procedures.
• Publish regular reports to management, regional and corporate office.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to automate manual reporting, identify opportunities and work with the team to improve the data integrity
