Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Technoplex Penang) seeks an Inventory Control Analyst to analyze and coordinate inventory control solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will interface with interplant and external teams on excess and obsolete stock.

You will maintain data for periodic reports to regional and corporate offices and support KPI-driven inventory improvements using AI-assisted reporting tools. Diploma or degree in related fields is preferred, with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in Materials Planning / Production Control preferred.
• Knowledge of materials management, inventory control and supply chain preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge on Generative AI and Agentic AI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate solutions for inventory control.
• Co-ordinate with interplant and external parties on excess and obsolescence inventory disposition.
• Maintain and manage data for periodic reporting to management, regional and corporate office.
• Support Inventory Manager on manage and control inventory to meet company inventory KPI , E&O quarter to quarter reduction % (Subjected to yearly Management Review Target)
• Analyze complex situations and recommend solutions to inventory problems
• Handles inquiries regarding inventory control issues, policies and procedures.
• Publish regular reports to management, regional and corporate office.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to automate manual reporting, identify opportunities and work with the team to improve the data integrity
