Job summary

Sanmina Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to coordinate inventory control and reporting across sites. You will collaborate with interplant and external teams to manage excess and obsolescence, maintain data for management reporting, and support KPI delivery.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or SCM with at least 1 year of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with AI-enabled reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Materials Planning / Production Control or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of materials management, inventory control and supply chain preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge on Generative AI and Agentic AI preferred.
• Strong communication skill.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and co-ordinate solutions for inventory control.
• Coordinate with interplant and external parties on excess and obsolescence inventory disposition.
• Maintain and manage data for periodic reporting to management, regional and corporate office.
• Support Inventory Manager to meet inventory KPI and E&O targets.
• Analyze complex situations and recommend solutions to inventory problems.
• Handle inquiries regarding inventory control issues, policies and procedures.
• Publish regular reports to management, regional and corporate office.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to automate manual reporting and identify opportunities.
