Job summary

Carsome Group in Malaysia seeks a Warehouse Inventory Officer to maintain inventory integrity and accuracy across inbound and outbound activities. You will perform cycle counts, visual inspections, and reconcile stock between systems and physical counts.

Requirements include a degree or diploma in business/logistics or supply chain, warehouse inventory experience, and proficiency with ERP/WMS and MS Office. You will train new recruits and generate timely reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, logistics, system engineering, supply chain management or similar.
• Experience in warehouse inventory management.
• Good analytical skills with eye for detail.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments independently.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inventory management with aim of the integrity and accuracy of inventory at all times.
• Day-to-day visual inspection on goods arrived at the warehouse and outbound.
• Ensure timely processing of inbound/outbound activities to meet company objectives.
• Inventory reconciliation between in-house tracking system and physical counts.
• Keep track on all aging/problematic cars and take necessary actions.
• Perform cycle and annual stock takes accurately and timely.
• Interface and support inter-departments on stock quantity issues.
• Comply with SOPs, safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
• Assist to hire and train new recruits in inventory management.
• Sending out reports on timely manner as required by the department.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
