Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Inventory Specialist to meticulously track inventory levels, manage stock movements, and ensure accurate records. You will order stock based on forecasts and supplier agreements, while maintaining data integrity across systems.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree with at least 1 year in a service environment, plus basic Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting. Strong email and communication abilities are essential for follow-up and escalations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree with at least 1 year experience in service line.
• Computer Literacy – Basic Excel, Basic PowerPoint for reporting.
• Committed to the task / job assigned.
• Customer service skill for at least 1 year / fresh graduates can consider.
• Good in email writing, communication, ability in following -up until issue resolved and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Inventory levels tracked and stock movements recorded.
• Order new stock based on forecasts and supplier agreements.
• Maintain detailed inventory records of stock levels, movements and transactions.
• Perform cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Optimize inventory management to reduce holding costs and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations to ensure forecasts and efficient management.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies related to inventory management and handling.
