Job summary

Myamax Precision Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, located in Melaka, is seeking a diligent Storekeeper to manage receiving, storage and issuing of materials for production. The role includes maintaining accurate stock records, conducting cycle counts, and coordinating with Procurement and Logistics to ensure timely deliveries and returns.

Qualifications

• Experience in storekeeping and stock control.
• Familiar with inventory records, cycles counts and audits.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify against orders and documents.
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain clear identification.
• Maintain stock records, bin locations and balances in the inventory system.
• Pick and issue materials against requisitions for production.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and supplier returns.
• Ensure store security, housekeeping and safe handling of materials.
• Operate forklifts and handling equipment following training and authorization.
• Support stock and audit inquiries and suggest improvements.
